Teleportation isn't something strange to the Cat. Felines have always been thought to be able to bend the laws of physics. Whether they really can... well, answering that question would be cheating. Letting of a soft mew to reassure Veena, he lets her decide if he is cat-like enough to be deemed safe. It would be welcome to have another in feline form as company but the Cat knows he isn't quite the same as Earthly cats.
