"He was a good friend," Barry admitted, "despite the killing people and turning the city into his playground for a while. And seeing him get erased from time was horrible to watch." Barry could still hear Iris screaming for Eddie in his head and he shudders slightly even though he knows Eddie did a good and decent thing in getting rid of himself and his descendant.

He decides to change the subject. "Sounds like you know a little something about being late yourself," he says trying to make a joke out of it.
